Fanboys

Fanboys is the ultimate movie for any, well... Fanboy. It is very funny.

In 1998 Star Wars fans are left in darkness. But The Phantom Menace is on the horizon. But the wait is more painfull than a blaster bolt to the hip. So a bunch of Fans decide to take a road trip to the Lucas Ranch to steal a rough print. What could go wrong.
It was a hilarious movie. Not anything bad I can really say.

Tropic Thunder

Tropic Thunder is hands down the funniest movie I've seen. At the movies I nearly pissed myself.
It is about a team of actors who are in the proces of making a movie of a novel written my a war hero. When the studio threatens to cut the budget the director takes the team into the real veitnam jungle to make the movie.
It is hilarious. A very funny movie. I'd recomend it to anyone with a sense of humor.

Watchmen

Watchmen is mind blowing. The fight scenes are insanely stylised (in a good way).
It is set in an alternate 1985, when all superheros have been outlawed.
After the death of the cynical "Comedian", Rorschach - a masked physco decides to take the investigation into his own hands. He and the other ex-supers discover a higher plot behind it all.
It was an awesome and revolutionary movie. I'd really recomend reading the comic first though.

Mirror's Edge

I got Mirror's Edge about a week ago. It is so fun.
It is set in a world where there are rules and oppression everywhere.
You play as Faith a "runner" (someone who can run up walls and pull off heaps of cool stunts) and you have to deliver messages to other runners in an attempt to eventually free the city.
It is pretty non violent with the exception of a few punches and kicks and the occasional gun. though it discourages guns because they slow you down. It was an enjoyable game and definatly an undiscovered genre, but it wasn't used to fullest of it's potential. It could have been more risky and out there. They should have used this new idea to create a new genre not just a good game.

The Beatles: Rock Band

The Beatles Rock Band is a simple game. It doesn't have a specific plot, though you can play the story mode, which is pretty much all the songs in chronological order. But it is funer to just play the songs in free play. There is a difficulty rating on each song but it is best not to listen to it. All the songs are fun (and easy if you make the difficulty level "easy")
Whether or not you like this game really depends on whether or not you like The Beatles. As a Beatles fan I'd give it.

Its the coolest ad for Red Faction Guerrilla.

Its just promo footage for halo 3, but someone's put opening credits and in. It was shot by Neil Blomkamp who will be directing the Halo move in 2012.

Red Faction: Guerrilla.

A couple of weeks ago I got Red Faction Guerilla.

In the future Mars is gripped by oppression. This is the doing of the Earth Defence Force (EDF). All the miners and colonists are being killed in the street for no good reason. But there is an uprising called the Red Faction. It consists of fed up miners and colonists. Now apart of this alliance it is up to Alec Mason to free Mars and save the day.
The 3rd person gameplay is really fun. The destructibility is incredible. The only thing you can't break is the ground.

The missions are fun and so is the online play. Its worth it if only for the different jet packs. It is fun to do the side missions and earn upgrades before you do the important liberation missions.

Pretty much all the weapons are fun, especially the rail driver. It has an x-ray scope and can shoot through walls to take out baddies without giving away your position to his buddy's.

It is a very fun game and is definitely worth playing.

Sherlock Holmes

I saw Sherlock Holmes last Monday. It was really good.

After killing 3 women and attempting to kill a 4th, Lord Blackwood is captured and sentenced to death by hanging. All goes well... Until he is seen rising from the grave. Following this event, a range of supernatural occurrences start popping up all over England.

It strayed from the original, classic Sherlock Holmes a lot but remained a brilliant, interesting movie. The Watson character was a bit too different, He was fit and in it mainly for the adventure, the classic Watson was chubby and a loyal assistant. It didn't bug me too much though. The story was really good and intriguing. The twist ending was unexpected.

Halo 3

I know I'm WAAAY late but only got my X-Box a couple of months ago.
Halo 3 is very, very good, not perfect, but definitely worth playing.

Mankind is on the brink of extinction, the alien Covenant are on their way to the great journey (which involves blowing up the universe), only one Cyborg can save us now. Can you guess who.

The gameplay is really fun and the graphics are good but no great. The AI isn't too smart but Master Chiefs' awesomeness makes up for it. There were some wicked battles and awesome weapons. The multiplayer is one of the best I've played.

Avatar.

Avatar is the coolest movie of 09'.

The US army have discovered the luscious and beautiful planet of Pandora. It is also rich in a precious mineral. There is only one problem. The natives.

It was Awesome. The special effects were so realistic. The plot was awesome, the visuals were awesome, the acting was awesome. There was only one minor fault that bugged me.

(Spoiler)
When the army attacked "Home Tree", all the Na'vi were distraught. I thought the film didn't show how important home tree really was and how much they depended on it.
(Spoiler)

Other than that it it was flawless.
