Batman: Arkham Asylum

HE'S BATMAN. And he's comic book batman, not the lame movie batman.
After the Joker is captured by Batman he is transferred to Arkham Asylum. After an amazing ecsape (who could have scene it coming), Batman must restore order to the madhouse.
As Batman you must battle countless henchmen and come really classic villans that never made it in to the movies. It was surprisingly dark and creepy for a batman game, but still fun.

Surrogates

It was a mix of Matrix and Minority Report. It was a creepy concept.

In the near future, 97% of the human race own's a "surrogate". A humanoid machine that gives you the apearence you always wanted, and it can be controled from your very own home. These surrogates can be, shot, trampled, drowned even explodamified. Crime is at an all time low... Untill users are being killed through their surrogates. FBI agent Tom Greer is assigned to investigate the strange crime.

It was a classic Sci-Fi/Mystery but it remained interesting.

Cast Away

Cast Away was a entertaining movie with a good cast. It was interesting and engaging.

Cast Away begins with Chuck Noland who is a FedEx delivery man and obsessed with his job. He has a big family and a loving partner. On christmas night he is paged to the airport for a late night delivery. When he arrives at the airport, his girlfriend Kelly, gives him a pocket watch with her picture in it, and he gives her a wedding ring, and tells her to think about it while he's gone.

Once over the pacific ocean the plane hits a storm and is violently thrust into the ocean. After one night of lying in a life raft, he washes up on the shore of an island. After several days some FedEx packages wash up on shore. He then puts their contents to practical uses.

After 4 years a toilet door washes ashore. Chuck decides it is time to build a raft, and escape the island.

It was a really good movie with an inconclusive ending, which some people didn't like but I liked it how they left it up to you.

AVP

As bad as the movies were, this is actually fun.
You can play as Alien, Predator or Space Marine. After the USS Marlow is gunned down by an "unknown" vessel (The Predator ship) you have the option to become free as an Alien, find the ultimate hunt as the predator or fight to stay alive as the Marine.
All campaigns are short but very fun. I can tell they got a bit sloppy with the graphics near the end but the awesome action made up for it.

Mass Effect 2

Shepard is BACK! And gone again in the fist five seconds. Seriously, he dies in the first ten minutes, after the ship is attacked. But he gets re-created so it's ok.

After a devastating attack on the Nomandy (Shepard Space ship) Systems Alliance Commander Shepard is K.I.Ad. Two years later the Cerberus Company has rebuilt him to save the galaxy. Cerberus doesnt have the cleansest past, but Shepard must form an uneasy alliance with them in order to save humanity.

It was really fun and I could tell they fixed all the glitches from number 1. It was a really fun RPS. With a voice cast almost as good as a movie.

The Men Who Stare at Goats

Last night I went and saw the men who stare at goats. It was great.

Journalist Bob Wilton's story begins when he interviews a man who claims he was part of a top secret government project to train physic soldiers. Of course Bob thinks it's bull sh*t but when he joins the army to try to win his wife back he meets Lyn Cassidy, who was the best of the New Earth Army (where they trained the psychics). Lyn then takes Bob on a wild journey and a secret mission.

It was really good, and worth watching at cinemas. But don't expect it to be constant slapstick comedy. I struggled to believe that it was true, and how funny the ending was.
