It is once again time to say, YAY Halo, with Halo 3: ODST. Unlike the previous games Master Chief is on vacation and is leaving it up to a small squad of Orbital Drop Shock Trooper's to pick up the slack. A squad of 6 ODST soldier's are deployed onto a covenant cruiser. Just before landing, the carrier makes a slip space jump leaving all the ODST's hurtling toward the post apocalyptic "New Mombassa". The creativly named "Rookie" must relocate his scattered squad and escape the delapadated city.
It was fun but I just felt like a weak Master Chief. It was only really fun on the flashback missions but they were really fun. It didn't bring anything new, but the franchise doesn't need anything new.
